Some of the most frequent questions we get are “How do you keep your price point so low with such amazing product?” and “I see comparable brands at prices 2-3x Rae’s…how do you do it?“. Well, without giving away the entire secret, there are a few key pieces that have helped us create pure and powerful products at such an attainable value.At Rae, we believe well-being is for everyone. That means everyone should have access to high-quality and effective products without the high price tag. In order to fulfill that mission, it is important that we create the best products, period. How we do that is nailing the formulations and ingredient profiles with our manufacturing partners, chemist, quality team, and more. And, of course, there are a few ways throughout the process that we deliver the value to our customers.
- We review all of the research. In order to include everything you need (and nothing you don’t), we conduct a deep review of clinical research, studies, and literature. This allows us to focus on the ingredient combinations that matter the most instead of including unnecessary fillers.
- We invest in a 5-step testing protocol, and additional quality controls. Because quality is at the forefront of everything we do, we invest heavily in processes and procedures that make sure our ingredients and end products are showing up consistently, every time, for our customers. This creates trust and our ability to scale without unanticipated costs.
- We scaled quickly. When you scale quickly, you buy a lot of units from your partners. And when you buy a lot of units, you can negotiate better prices across the board. To date, we have sold over 5 million products to our community. So our community has helped us keep our value proposition!
- We have a universe of solutions. Because we have products across all wellness needs (stress, sex, hormones, skin, digestion, and more), we were able to think about the ingredients needed across the brand. For example, we use the same ashwagandha in 3 of our products today, which allows us to source that ingredient more efficiently.
